VICTORIAN ROWING TEAM.
WEND.OUREE CLUB'S FOUR. VISIT DEFINITELY ARRANGED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON, Wednesday.
Definite advice has. been received by Mr. 1 A., D. Bayfield, hon. secretary of the New Zealand Amateur Bowing Association, that the Victorian Rowing Association has indorsed the nomination of the Wendouree Rowing Club to send a four-oared senior crew to New Zealand at the end of this month.- The personnel of the crew is as follows:—J. R. Jopling (stroke), 12st 21b; W. R. B. Todd (3), lOst 101b; G. Hutchins (2). list 61b; R. S. Merriman (bow), list 41b. The crew will probably sail from Sydney on February 25 and the present intention is that they will compete at the Wanganui regatta on March 5, the Wellington regatta on March 12 and the championship regatta at Picton on March 19. It is possible the crew will not bring its boat or coxswain and an endeavour will be mode to provide them accordingly.
