TWO MORE PARTIES ARRIVE. BRIEF VISITS TO DOMINION, Two parties of American tourists engaged in personally-conducted tours of the Dominion, arrivod at Auckland from iVaocouver by the Niagara yesterday. The two groups number 55. Mr. E. A. Forbes' party, which is en- j gaged on a Pacific and Eastern tour, comprises 30 people. With one or two exceptions the men of the party are uil retired business men of considerable means, and are accompanied by their wives and children. Practically every member of the party has travelled round'the world and visited every British Dominion with the exception of New Zealand. The visitors were taken for a motor drive round the city yesterday afternoon. Their Auckland visit will only be of the shortest duration, as this morning thoy will leave by train for a two days' stay in Rotorua. On Friday they are to proceed to the Waitomo Caves, going to Taumarunui on Saturday to travel by steamer down the Wanganui River. The party is to be in Wanganui at .11.30 a.m. on Monday, and will leavo for Wellington on Tresday, joining the Ulimaroa for {Sydney the following Friday. Mr. J. L. Wheeler, manager of Pacific lours, Limited, San Francisco, who is making his fourteenth' visit to the .Dominion. heads a party of 25 people. o tour is confined to New Zealand, and a stay ot one month will be made enabling the South Island to be visited. The party will proceed to Waitomo today, then visiting Rotorua, Wairakei National Park, the Wt.neanui Rivpr' xTh E fT!r- Y Ullßanui Falmerston .North and Wellington. From there thev will cross to P-cton and motor to Nelson and the West Coast, via the Boiler Gorge. The Fraus Josef Glacier will be visited, and then the party will pro ceed by train to ChrishcWh, joining the Makura at Wellington on March 1 to return to San Francisco.
