Mr. Raymond Levy, of Sydney, who has been on a brief visit to New Zealand, left by the Niagara last evening Sir Frank Clarke, of Melbourne, president of the Legislative Council of Victoria, left by the Niagara for Sydney yesterday. Mr. Robert Todd, of Vancouver, -who, purposes to spend four months fishing in New Zealand, arrived by the Niagara yesterday. Mr. L. Turner, of London, Mr. W. S v Deshay, of Honolulu, and Mr. P. S. Drurnby, of Portland, Oregon, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. E. W. Beaglehole, who is at present an inspector in the Auckland district, has been appointed headmaster of the . East Christchureh school. Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Marshall, of Qatii fornia, Mr. and Mrs. F. Hall and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fuller, of Philadelphia, and Lt.-Colonel and Mrs. F. B. Wilson,, of Toronto, are at the Grand Hotel. . Mr. M. G. Cameron. Mr. G. F. Judil, Mr. T. H. Davios. Mr. P. N. Denton, and Mr. V. G. White, of Wellington, Mr. Stewart Browne, of Hamilton,"and Mr. W. N. Satterwaite, of Dunedin, ar-j at the Central Hotel. The Hon. George Fowlcjs and Mr. % U. Wells, who will represent the Auckland University College on the council to contrpl the new agricultural college nfc Falmerston North, left for Wellington by train last evening to attend a meeting o'i the council. Mr. Charles Todd, of Punedin, president of the New Zealand Alliance, returned by the Niagara yesterday after a. nine months' tour abroad, during which he visited America. Britain and this Continent. Brooks, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel.
