RETURN FROM THE NORTH. His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson returned from their North Auckland tour on Saturday evening. The Vice-Regal party paid a visit to Helensville on Saturday, and was welcomed by the Hon. C. J. • Carringtou, M.L.C., and members of the Helensville Town Board and Chamber of Commerce. After attending the Helensville Agricultural Show in the afternoon, the party visited the Parakai hot springs. Their Excellencies travelled to Auckland by the Whangarei express.
