MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED.

CAR NEGLIGENTLY DRIVEN. A QUESTION OF DAMAGES. Charges of negligently driving a motorvehicle in Khyber Pass on September 20, and of cutting tine corner of Gro'whurst Street and Khyber Pass were brought against Joseph Ravlich in the Police Court yesterday. Ernest Albert Still gave evidence that he was riding a motor-cycle op Khyber Pass when he collided head on with a car driven by defendant, which was coming out of Crow hurst Street. The car was on its wrong side. Witness' right leg was broken above the knee, and he received other injuries. Defendant, in evidence, • said he was driving at four or five miles am hour at the time of the collision." The motor cyclist was travelling 10 or 15 times as fast ass he was. He attributed the accident to the excessive speed of the cyclist. After the evidence had been heard the magistrate, Mr. Gotten, convicted defendant on the charge of negligent driving. The case was then adjourned until today to enable the magistrate to consider the question of damages for the complainant.
