CAPSIZE OF A JIGGER.
MISHAP ON RAILWAY BRIDGE. TWO MEN RECEIVE INJURIES. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Wednesday. An accident occurred yesterday on the Victoria St-reet overhead railway bridge, near the Waihi station. Mr. J. Adams, an employee of the Public Works Department at Athenree, and Mr. J. Taylor, storekeeper to the Public Works Department at Athenree, were proceeding from Waihi to Athenree on a railway jigger. When crossing the bridge over Victoria Street the jigger capsized. Fortunately the bank broke their fall, but both men and the jigger were precipitated to the footpath, a drop of about 15ft. When picked up Adams was found to be suffering from an injured back. Taylor received a bad shaking and is suffering from bruises and shock. Both men received medical attention, after which they were conveyed to their homes-
