BUSINESS HOUSES TEAM. An Association football match between the Business Houses' representatives and the Auckland second grade representatives will bo played at Blandford Park on Saturday afternoon. Downic has been appointed manager of the team. Messrs. Adams and Fletcher, selectors for the second grade representatives, announce that the following team will piny for Auckland:—Smith (North Shore), (freer] (Ponsonby) and Taylor (Chelsea). Jackson (Onehungni. G. Wright (Poll son by) and Mealing (Philomel). Drew (Ponsonby). Pugli (Chelsea). Waterpon (Ponsonby). Holmes (Northcote) and Griffiths (Onehurtgn). Reserves: Wnterson (Ponsonby), Woodinffe (Philomel) and Griffiths (Onohunga). The manager is Mr. A. Fletcher. THE COMRADES CLUB. Mr. G. C. Ballantyne, hon. secretary of the Comrades Football Club, writes as follows:-" 111 yesterday's issue of the Hr.RALD the following statement, concerning (he Auckland Football Association's sixth grade competition is made: ' Meantime the Comrades Club, which has taken the official lead in the contest, htm become "suspect" in the matter of playing boys over the age-limit, and its case is under consideration, or appeal.' As secretary of the Comrades Club, I wish to emphatically deny that there is any question under consideration concerning the ago of any of my players. Seeing that this incorrect statement, which concerns the honour of my club, has been published, I consider that J am justified in asking that a correction be published."
