TAKAPUNA BOATHOUSE SITE.
Sir,—ln view of the correspondence which has appeared on the above question, we, the undersigned, who were members of the Takapuna Borough Council from April, 1921, to April, 1923. during which time the question of granting a leasehold of a site for the Takapuna Boating Club first came up for discussion, desire to State that to the best of our knowledge and belief there was.no intention of granting a freehold of the land to the club. i ' ' J.; M.
