WRECK OF THE COOMA.
SALVAGE OPERATIONS; r —; A. andt' N'.Z.- BRISBANE. Aug.' 21. A message fronr Rockhampton states that, as a result of tbo salvage operations, the steamer Cooma, which went ashoro on North Reef, off Queensland,' appeared to be- afloat, and everything to be. tight. An attempt to move the ship into .deep water by her own power failed. Two tugs are ■ now ' proceeding to the scene to endeavour to tow her off the reef.
