FAMOUS WELSH FOOTBALLER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON,"Aug. 20. The death has occurred of Trew, the Welsh Rugby footballer. ' - ' Trew was famous not only 'because' ho was the greatest centre that had ever played for Wales, but also for his-being a joint originator oi' the reverse pass." 1 ' He did not meet:-the All-Black team which toured; Britain in- 1905;;-as-he was incapacitated by injuries • which he' had received.
