TRAIN ROBBER'S FATE.
KILLED WHILE ESCAPING.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 n.m.) PARIS. Aug. 21. Swift retribution overtook a masked bandit. He had entered the ladies' compariment in the Bentschemßerlin train and robbed the ' Occupants at the point of a revolver. '
Th 9 intruder then pulled the alarm cord to facilitate his escape.' He jumped off as the train glowed down, but an express swept t>y 1 in t'ho opposite' direction and fatally 'injured the bandit.
