DAYLIGHT SAVING.

Sir, —May I enter a protest against the Daylight- Saving Bill ? I read that the Hon. J. Barr said we or the farming community 1 did not understand the bill. I think if Mr. Barr were to be placed in our position he would have a different tune to sing. If the bill is passed it will mean that the farmers will have to got up in the dark in the summer time as well as the winter > especially farmers who have to get milk for milk-rounds. I think that we have enough hours to work without altering the clock. Tlie Farmers' Union ought to enter a strong protest. An Early Riser.
