AN UNSAFE ROAD.
Sir, —Permit me to inform motorists travelling between Swanson and Taupaki that the woll-graded road known as Mclltce's is not safe. A defective culvert near Mr. Lee's, is irt a bad way, while further along there is a dangerous washaway. Unitl damage is repaired motorists and other travellers would be well advised to.put up with the discomfort and extra distance, arid use the road over the tunnel hill. D. Meldmjsi. Swanson.
