Sir,—Cart property owners be fully aware of the effect- of section 29, subsection (2B) of the, bill? This reads: — "Compensation shall not be payable under this section in any of the following cases, that is to: say: In respect of any > provision of a scheme regulating - the space about buildings or limiting the number of buildings that may be erected within any area, or prescribing the height of character of buildings, or defining the purposes for which any specified area or areas may be exclusively or principally used." The last clause should be enough for anyone with a stake in the country to ask what exactly is meant and to make sure that until it is slightly .more harmless it should not become law. •E. V.
