REGISTRATION OF COLOURS.

The' list -of colours registered with, the New •-Zealand - Trotting Assotiation; which ha?, been growing so steadily during the last few years.-has become so overloaded with colours claimed by owners who have' ceased to- s take an active part in the report ' that it has been found liecess.'&ry to dealwith the matter at issue. The ; following is thenew rulis brought into forca: '' It Bhall be; compulsory to reregister all colours on or 'before August '3l,' 1926, otherwise "the registration of, all . colours theretofore registered ''shall Japjje (and thereafter" the registration of all colours -shall lapse): if not reregistered during the month-of August in every third;year from the year 1926. Provided always that the 'secretary. of the.' association shall," at least two months before the time appointed for the of .colours.- continuouiily notify that the Registration of colours will lapse if not reregistered, A fee of 5b shall be. naid upon each reregistration of colours."
