MOTOR-LORRY BURNED.

SPARK FROM SHORT CIRCUIT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] WHAKATAXE, Wednesday. A spanner which struck the terminals of the battery on a motor-lorry owned by Mr. George- Wilson, of Ruatoki, caused a spark which ignited some bezine vapour arisintr from the filling of the benzine tank, at Dalgety's premises at Whakatano yesterday afternoon. The flames shot up to the roof of the building, which was scorched. The lorry end goods were badly damaged. The fire brigado was called, and quelled the outbreak.
