CRISIS IN NORWAY.
FINANCIAL TRANSACTION. MINISTERS AND A BANK. A. and N.Z. OSLO. July. 9. The Norwegian Parliament is faced by a remarkable position. This has arisen from a recommendation made by a select committee that a!l bat two, members of M. Berg's ~1925 Cabinet should be prosecuted. it is alleged that the Ministers assisted the Norske Handesbank with a deposit of £1,250,000 from the Treasury without the , knowledge of Parliament just on the eve j of the failnre of the bank. If the recommendation is adopted there is sure to be a Cabinet crisis because two of the present Ministers, MM. .Wefring and Vonder, were in M. Berg's Cabinet. A minority report recommends that the Lower House should censure the Prim Minister, M. Lykke, for not informing Parliament, of M. Berg's, a>ction.
