WORKERS' COMPENSATION. PRICE OF GAS TO RISE. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. July 10. Owing to increased expenditure as a result of the new Workers' Compensation Act and to the increase in the cost of coal, the price of gas is to be increased on and after July 17 by Id, to 5s 8d per 1000 cubic feet.
