KRIM'S BANISHMENT.
ALTERATION IN VENUE. A. and N.Z. PARIS, July 9. The French and Spanish delegates have decided that Abd el K.rim, the fallen leader of the Riffs, shall not be banished to Madagascar, but to the Island of Reunion. The change of plan is designed to keep Krim removed as far as possible from contact with the Moslem world. Reunion, or Bourbon, is a French island in the Mascarene group, Indian Ocean. It is 485 miles east of Madagascar, and is of volcanic origin and divided by a chain of mountains and a tableland into two portions. The island is thickly populated and contains several towns and ports.
