AUCKLAND CLUB. THE PRESIDENT'S FOURSOMES. The president's foursome handicap was played by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Middlemore on Saturday. A very strong north-easterly wind was blowing and this made accurate play very difficult. The following were the best cards returned: — C. M. Gordon and H. L. Rees, 87, 7—80; J. L. Clark and R. D.
