' Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Williams, of Gisborne, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. George W. Wilton, of Wellington, are at the Hotel Arundel. Messrs. D. A. Carty and A. Mackenzie of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel. ' Messrs. E. N. Adams and V. E. Sanders, of Thames, are at the Star HoteL Messrs. J. R. McKonzie and B. Van Staveren, of Wellington, are at the Grand HoteL Dr. and Mrs. A. S. Brewis, of Hamilton, left by the Marama yesterday for Sydney. They are taking a trip to tho East. Mr. G. Haylev, of Christchnrch, M.r. E. W. Taylor, of Wellington, and Messrs. N. Ray and W. R. Lowry, of Te Aroha, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. J. Peach, of Napier, Mr. A. H. Delaney, of Ongarue, Mr. J. W. White, of Hukapapa, and Mr. R. 0. Pleasant, of Matiere, are at the Royal Hotel. The Rev. A. Hardie. who has been in charge nf the Presbyterian Church at Paterangi for nearly three years, is leaving shortly for Martinliorough. He will be inducted on July 29. Mr. Ernest Marsh, director of the Dun* edin Exhibition Art Gallery, who has been spending a few days in Auckland, left yesterday by the Marama for Sydnev on his return to England.
