A NEW LEASE OF LIFE. :~i} - j ■ ■The annual meeting of the Auckland Competitions Society will be held in the lecture room of the Unity Hall 011 July 19. Profiting by the lessons of last year, the executive of the society has been considerably strengthene 1, and an active campaign for the assistance of the public has now been commenced. Funds are coming in ' steadily, and the society is confident that Auckland will in - future run fan annual festival comparing favourably with those which are go; successful in the South. The newly-appointed secretary, Mr. Frank Adeane, advises that the syllabus -for 1926 is now being prepared, and will' "be issued toward the end of this month. •
