FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA.
MECHANIC TO JOIN COBHAM. DELAY OF THREE WEEKS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 0 p.m.) LONDON, July 8. Mr, Alan J. Cobham, whose flight from England to Australia has been interrupted owing to the death of his mechanic, cannot resume the flight for at least three wetks. The De Havilarid Company is sending out Mr. Moore, a mechanic employed by the makers of the Jaguar engine. Mr. Moore is at present in Denmark He is returning to England in a few days. Then he will go overland to Bnndisi, embark for Alexandria and train to Haifa, where he will join a motor convoy to Bagdad. He will then fly to Basra.
