DANCING.
The Parisian Dancing Club will hold a grand carnival night in the Society of Arts Hall this evening, commencing at 8 o'clock. Perrin's dance orchestra, under the personal supervision of Ivan Pcrrin, from the Winter Gardens and Dixieland, Christchurch, will provide jazz music. Novelties in the form of balloons, confetti, streamers and carnival hats will be introduced. A flashlight photograph will be taken daring the evening. The Grey Lynn Labour Party will conduct a 3pecial long night dance at the Casino de Luxe, Ponsonby Road, this eyening. Old-i:me dancing is a feature of the programme and there will be several novelty numbers. Paltridge's orchestra, under the baton of George Paltridge, the vocal pianist, will supply the music*. A free bus service to Surrey Crescent and Point Chevalier will be provided. The Savoy Dancing Club will hold its usual weekly dance in the Orange Hail, Newton Road, on Wednesday evening. The first dance of the Alhamhra Dance Club, will take place in the St.. Paul's Hall. Symonds Street, this evanine. Music will be provided by the Alliambru Jazz Orchestra.
