DISASTER IN AMERICA.
COLLAPSE IN A COALMINE. SEVEN MEN KILLED. Renter. ' NEW YORK. July 3. A mesage from Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania, (says seven men we're killed and eight were injured in an accident which occurred in a coalmine to-day. The roof of the underground workings at a depth of 700 ft. collapsed over an area of four acres. The fall released quantities of gas, which made the work of the rescuers difficult.
