WOMAN FOUND INJURED.

PICKED UP ON THE ROAD. INCIDENT AT GISBORNE. [Bi' telegraph.—-own correspondent.] GISBOBNE, Monday. A "woman, Mrs. Qeorgina Alderton, was picked up unconscious near the intersection of Sheridan Street and Onnond Road on Saturday evening. The discovery was made by the occupants of a car when on their way toward the town. Medical aid was rendered and the sufferer was taken to the Cook Hospital. Her Injuries were not, extensive, although a number of stitches had to be inserted in a cut at the back of her head. She was also suffering from shock.
