ALLOCATION OF £24,321.
GRANTS TO MANY COLLEGES. i [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] WELLINGTON. Monday. The allocations made by the trustees of the Lizzie Rathbone estate for 12 months ending March 31 amount to £24.321. Each university college receives £3OOO and the Waiapii Diocesan Trust Board, Napier, £3500; St. Bede's College, Christchurch, the Beys' High School, Timaru, St. Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin, and Sacred Heart College, Auckland, receive £6OO each. The remainder is distributed to various institutions in amounts from £250 downwards. In addition to the grants to the University and Sacred Heart College, the following allocations were made to institutions in the Auckland province*— Queen Victoria School for Maori Girls, £100; St. Stephen's School for Maori Boys, £100; Order of the Good Shepherd. £150; St. Mary's Homes, Otahuhu, £150; Methodist Orphanage, Mount Albert, £200; Little Sisters of the Poor, £250; Jubilee Institute for the Blind, £200; Catholic Maori Mission, Dargaville, £2OO.
