BATTLE MEMORIALS.

A lecture on the subject of the memorials erected by the New Zealand Government in the various theatres of the war, in commemoration of the exploits of the New Zealand Division, will be given by Mr. S. Hurst Seager, in the Town Hall on Monday and Tuesday evenings next Many of the sectors so closely associated with the New Zealand Division on Gallipoli will be shown on the screen, and Mr. Seager will describe France and Belgium, and show some of the battlefields as they appear to-day, and the memorials erected at Longueval, Messines, Gravenstafel and Le Quesnoy. To those whose sons took part in the war, and to returned men, Mr. Seager's visit to Auckland should be of great interest. There will be a retiring collection to assist the returned soldiers' " Poppy Day " fund.
