ELECTORAL SCANDAL.
ALLEGED IMPERSONATION. PUBLICITY AGENT'S STATEMENT. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. April 24. Sensational evidence was given before the Federal Electoral Commission by a witness who had acted as publicity agent in various elections for the Nationalist and also for the Labour Parties. This witness alleged that wholesale "dummying" was committed in the East Sydney electorate at the last Federal and State elections. He said a system had been organised for years, mostly on behalf of Labour. When ho was working for Labour, witness said, ho was a party to this impersonation. He had to be blind to it, otherwise he Mould have lost his employment.
