DROWNING ACCIDENTS.
FATE OF LITTLE CHILD. FOUND DEAD IN A BARREL. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TIMARU. Monday. A child aged two years, a son of Mr. J. S. Williams, of Temuka, was found drowned in a barrel in which, was 2ft. of water. The child had been playing near the barrel. v BODY DISCOVERED IN CREEK. ELDERLY FARMER'S DEATH. [BY telegraph.—press association. ] NEW PLYMOUTH. Monday Otto Bsrr, an elderly farmer of Tarata, was fonnd drowned in a creek on his property this evening by neighbours who became alarmed when he failed to return to the house. He had not been enjoying good health lately.
