KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR.
HAMILTON WOMAN INJURED. ACCIDENT AT FRANKTON. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Monday. A young married woman, Mrs. Jane Prescott, of London Street, Hamilton, was knocked down by a motor-car driven by Mrs. C. Lafferty, of Frankton, in Frankton this evening. Mrs. Prescott was rendered unconscious, and suffered from shock. She received an injury to one of her arias, the exact nature of which cannot be ascertained until an X-ray examination is made to-morrow. She is an inmate of the Waikato Hospital, and is reported to have recovered consciousness and to be progressing favourably.
