DEPARTURE NEXT MONTH. CLEARING UP OFFICIAL WORK. [BX TEL3EGBAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] "WELLINGTON. Monday. Questioned to-day, Sir James Parr said that with the concurrence of the Prime Minister he would continue as Minister of Education and Postmaster-General for two or three-weeks yet, so that he might clear up and complete important matters in hand in each department. "I expect," said Sir James, "to sail with my wife and family for England about April 23." The Minister left to-day for Whangarei, where he is to open a new high schooL To-morrow he will be entertained at a complimentary banquet by the Mayor and councillors of Whangarei, the County Council, and the educational authorities. On Wednesday be will be entertained at a luncheon by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce. Farewell functi*us to Sir James and Lady Parr will be given by. the New Lynn and other school committees in Auckland on Thursday. y
