A WEDDING.

St. Luke's Church, Rotorua, was th« scene of a pretty wedding, when the marriage of Miss Nita Maud Lasenby, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Lasenby, of Amohia Street, Rotorua, to Mi - . D6uglas Jems, second son of Mr, and Mrs, Jervis, Pwerika Street, Rotorua, was celebrated on February 9. Tho service was fupy choral,. Miss D. Halkett presiding at the organ. The Rotorua Giri Guides and Brownies, of whom the bride was a leader, wero present, and formed a guard of honour. Tho bride, ivho was fiven away by her father, wo;re ivory rench crepe de chine and ivory fiilk lace. Her veil was held in place by clusters of orange blossom, and she earned u shower bouquet of white carnations, dahlias, mauve asters, aud asparagus fern. Attending her as bridesmaids w<»re her sisters, Misses Ina aud Marianne Lasenby. The former wore a dainty frock of mauve georgette, with hat to match; and the latter, a dainty frock of salmon pink French crepe tie chine, with hat to match. Both carried shower bouquets of mauve asters, pink s~/eet peas, white dahlias and asparagus, fern. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. John Jervis, as best man, and Mr. Ralph Lasenby (brother of the bride) as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was hold at the tea kiosk, Government. Gardens.
