SERIES OP ACCIDENTS.
BOY'S FALL FROM VERANDAH. A DROP OF THIRTY FEET. SEVERE INJURIES SUSTAINED. A fall of 30ft. from a verandah last evening resulted in severe injuries being sustained by Owen Kenneth Low, aged four, whose patents reside at 22, Pitt Street. The boy's right arm and shoulder were fractured and he also suffered injuries to the head. He was removed to the hospital and his condition early this morning was reported to be fair. While working on the Marama yesterday Mr. F. Youngs sustained injuries to the head through falling down the hold. After treatment in the casualty ward of the hospital he was able to proceed home. A fracture of the right leg was sustained by Mr. Henry Wilson, farm labourer, through falling off a truck of logs at Woodcociis, near Warkworth. Through catching his right hand in a stone-crusher at Tuakau, Mr. George Kirkwood, labourer, lost the third finger and portions of tha first and second fingers of the right hand
