KING'S GOLF DRIVE.
BALL IN COW'S FAR. INCIDENT AT BALMORAL. LONDON,. Fab. 11. Sir Theodore Cock, editor of the Field, has published a book, in which ha recalla a story previously published in the Field. "A distinguished golfer," he writes, <! while playing in Scotland was distressed to see the ball hit. a cow. Walking to the spot, he wail unable to find the ball until the cow, sorrowfully shaking her head, dropped the ball to the ground put of her leit ear." The story was received with derision, but Sir Theodore states that hi> is now able to state that the golfer /was King George, who at the time was playing at Balmoral.
