FRENCH PEOPLE AROUSED. BUSINESS STRIKE ARRANGED. Sun. LONDON, Feb, 15. Thß Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail says the revolt against higher taxes is spreading rapidly. Sixty thousand establishments, including restaurants, have decided 1 to close for three hours to emphasise the demand for what tliey term fiscal equality. This apparently means: "Somebody must pay, but wo •will not." Throughout the day the Chamber of Deputies rejected every tax proposal the Minister of Finance, M. Dpumer, submitted. The members ended by not voting a single penny of new revenue.
