MR. HARRY HOLLAND.

NEW SOUTH WALES WELCOME. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Fsb. 16. Mr. Harry Holland, leader of the New Zealand Labour Party, and other leaders of the movement were accorded a civic reception at the Town Hall. There was a strong representation of trades unionists. The Lord Mayor, Alderman P. V. Stokes, said that since Mr. Holland went to New Zealand he had wonderfully improved the position of Labour .in that Dominion. Speaking at a welcome gathering at Summerhill Mr. Holland said the position in New Zealand was never healthier than it was at present for the Labour Party. He believed the morning of the Labour movement there was very near at hand. Although his party had lost seats at the last election it bad greatly increased its voting strength.
