COMPANY'S HUGE PROFITS. £4,411,000 FOR PAST YEAR. Australian ami N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. Ei.6 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 15. The economic possibilities of artificial textiles are shown by the profits made by the firm of Courtaulds, last year, namely,, £4,411,000. This was after all taxation had been paid and depreciation had been taken into account. The directors are carrying £1,000,000 to the reserve fund and are paying a dividend of 5s per share fres of income tax, which equals 25 per cent.. They are carrying forward £1,046,000. The present yield from shares in the concern is 78s per cent.
