rst' TfiXEGBATH. —ME S3 ASSOCIATION.] ASHBURTON, Tuesday. The Minister of Agriculture, Hon. 0. J. Hawken, informed the Chamber of Commerce to-day by telegram that the Cabinet's decision regarding the wheat question will be made known as early as practicable this week. His telegram was a reply to the chamber's request for an immediate decision. A . considerable quantity of grain was already threjihnd but the farmers were prevented from marketing it owing to uncertainty regarding the Government's action.
