" I think the Mayor of Dunedin handled the .Municipal Conference brilliantly," said Mr. W. G. Russell, at the meeting of the Mount Albert Borough Council last evening. Mr. Russell said he disagreed with any suggestion that the business was hastily o-ushed through. Full consideration was given to matters of importance, but marly ramits required no discussion. The Mayor, Mr. L. E. Rhodes, said he wished to place 011 record nis appreciation of the manner in which the delegates were treated in Dunedin. It was decided to send an appreciative letter to the Dunedin City Council.
