JAPANESE AIRMAN.
— ARRIVAL IN ENGLAND. LONG FLIGHT FROM TOKIO. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Renter. LONDON. Or*. 12. The Japanese airman, Captain Karachi, who recently flew from Tokio to Paris, was forced to land on the way to London owing to engine trouble. Later he resumed his journey, and for a while his non-arrival at Croydon caused anxiety. He subsequently arrived safely at Farnborough, Kent. Captain Karachi left the Japanese capital on July 25 and flew to Paris via Siberia, Moscow and Berlin.
