MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH.
THE SUPPLY OF WATER. The Mount Albert Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. L. E. Rhodes, presiding. The turncock reported that the new main of the Auckland City Council from Nihotupu' was completed, and would be in use shortly. Provision was made to give Mount Albert a 12ixi. connection in Gladstone Road, which would give the borough a- greater volume and considerably improve the supply. The Mayor was appointed to represent the council at the Municipal Association Conference iti Dunedin next February. A request, by the Morningside Timber Company, Limited, to lay a tramway across Tavlor's Ho;ul was reiuscd.
