All free lists are to bo suspended on that day. Mr. Ritchie reported that arrangements for the sports meeting to be held on November 14 are well in hand. Mr. D. Miller had been appointed organising secretary. Following are ihe arrangements for Saturday's matches:— Tramways v. Thistle, Blandford Park, 3 p.m., Mr. Caisley; linesmen, Messrs. Gray and Parlitt; North Shore v. Ponsonby. Blandford Park. 1.30 p.m., Mr. T. G. Wilkes; linesmen, Messrs, Crocker and E. Parkerison.

A meeting of the committee of the South Auckland Football Association was presided over bv Mr. J. A. Clark. Reports were received from spectators and interested ofli; cials rogardins incidents arising out ot the Hnntly v. Rotowaro match on October 3, and to complete the evidence lor the inquiry to be held on October 19, statements from the individual players are to i>e obtained. . Frankton Railways advised that they •would journey to ilirnt.lv on Saturday to play tho Huittly Club in the South Auckland Association benefit match, and Ha.muton Technical School advised thai they would play the Huntly schoolboy team in a curtain-raiser. Tho committee accepted both offers with Thanks Mr. A. J. Latimer applied to arrange a between Scottish an<l players «>n October '24. for the benefit of the Sunshine '.League. Provided the Domain Board would prrant the use of a ground, approval -was given. Mr. J. Emerson applied to n'.ay as a curtain-raiser a match between Colonial and Ei;e!ish-bom players of junior frrade. This also was approved. The thanks of tho association my to bo euitably recorded to Mr. T. A. Campbell for his interest in the code tin tint; the season.
