PRINCE IN ARGENTINA.
PICTURESQUE EVENTS. NOVELTIES IN DEMONSTRATIONS. Reuter. BUENOS AIRES. Aus. 18. Tho Prince of Wales, accompanied by the president, Dr. Marcelo T. do Alvear, motored to-day to the naval school. Tho streets were densely crowded. The Royal party steamed up tho river through long lines of shipping from every part of the world. The appearance of the yacht conveying His Royal Highness was the signal for an outbreak of pandemonium. Each vessel, from the smallest to the largest, vied in producing tho greatest possible uproar. After a 20 minutes' trip the Prince reached a packing factory, where he was greeted by thousands of children dressed in white. Having inspected tho plant l/io Princo motored back to town. Tho entire route was lined with spectators. A feature of the return trip was the releaso of a flock of b'rds dyed red, white and blue. Tho Royal visitor attended a gala performance at, tho opera iu the evening.
