CRYSTAL FOR THE BRIDE.

Fascinating bridal wreaths and bouquets arc being made by a French designer from flowers of crystal, sprays of orange blossoms and narrow silver lace. The bouquets, of the small and formal orders, are composed of wondrous blossoms of white crystal that look like so many enchanted fairy flowers, glittering with dewdrops. The green leaves of the orange blossoms form a lovely background, and the whole effect is heightened by, the silver lace, supported from tho back with a stiff circle of silver paper. The bridal wreath is built on similar lines, a silver ribbon tying the chaplet firmly to the head. The transparency of the crystal proves far more becoming to the face than the white of the imitation flowers. To piri to the shoulder of the gown there is a crystal buttonhole counted with green leaves, and including a little shower of crystal drops that shine against the frock like so many dewdrops—a very becoming touch. Littlii buttonholes, for wear with tailormades are now being fashioned of crystal flowers, and are proving as economical in their perpetual youth as they are decorative in effect. Artificial, you may grumble! But is not this an artificial age?
