THREE CARS MISSING.
TAKEN FROM CITY STREETS.
Threo motor-cars have been taken from streets in the city during the past day or two. A car owned by Miss C. J. Ellis, of New North Road, was removed from Fort Street at about noon on Friday. Tho switch key hid been removed by the owner but this did not act as a deterrent to tho thief. The cat- is a Ford and bears the number N.Z. 58-934. On Saturday evening two cars were reported to have been s:olen. A dark blue five-seater Dodge, N.Z. 6255, disappeared from outside fchu Hotel Cargen in Eden Crescent at about nine o'clock. It is owned by Northern Automobiles, Ltd. The second car was left by the owner, Mr. E. J. Samuel, outside the Grafton Flats, near Grafton Bridge, and was missed at half-past eight. The car is a grey five-seater Chevrolet, N.Z 59-646, with a khaki-coloured hood, wooden wheels and an Auckland Automobile Association badge on the bonnet. At an early hour this morning none of the cars had been recovered.
