Kyle and a M. Ollivier hsve announced themselves as candidates for the Riccarfcon seat in the Reform interest. Mr. Kyle stood last election, being defeated by Mr. Witty. MARSDEN LABOUR NOMINEE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.} WHANGAREI. Saturday. According to Mi*. S. L. Freeman, president of the Martden Committee of the New Zealand Labour Party, a Labourite! candidate from' Auckland has been chosen to contest the seat. All that is known is that Mr. Freeman contemplated standing but has given way to the Auckland, nominee. The Labpur Party expresses th« view that the cost in time and expense of an election ballot for candidature will not, now be necessary. The party declines to divulge the name of the candidate.
