DRESSES CUT WIDER. LONDON. May 17. All beige finis, petunia pink and periwinkle blue, ' fvere the favourite hues of frocks worn aE Longchamps, says a latis message. Dresses were cut wider, flaring at the hem, giving a greater display for lace and other draperies, additional grace of movement. There is a noticeable tendency to return to old-fashioned printed designs, reminiscent of the 18th wnlury. Tea roses printed on beigo georj_ r «ttc made a daringly transparent design,. , crowned with a similarly patterned bonneis shaped toque. One smart woman wore, a periwinkle blue dress of crepe liinon, pv'eated at the neck and liem. The full <-vpe hanging down the back was embroidered, and finished with a broad collan; (*' squirrel fur.
