INDOOR BOWLS.
MATCH AT BIRKENHEAD. A unique and interesting howling match took place in the Foresters' Hall, Birkenhead, on Monday evening, when, at the invitation of Court Birkenhead Ancient, Order of Foresters, two rinks of the Waitomata Bowling Club were present to try their skill ut carpet bowls. An enjoyable game, resulted in a win for tho Foresters by 32 to 23.
