MENACE OF SEA EROSION. Sea erosion is threatening beauty spots on the Dorset coast. At Ringstcad, between Weymouth and Swanage, thero have been serious cliff subsidences lately. Perched right on the edge of a crumbling cliff, with the foundations cracking, is Pirate's House, an old cottage formerly used by smugglers. The tenant, Mrs. Allen, has just been compelled to leave. Some years since, owing to sea erosion, a houso and garden dropped nearly 50 feet. . .
